- This client can only use
@hotmail.com e-mails by design. Logging in with usernames will be supported in the future.
- These clients do not use secure login; support for them needs to be manually enabled when making your account. We recommend using a throwaway password for these clients.
- These clients do not work on Windows XP/Vista/7 out of the box and require extra steps. This is because they use expired root certificates. Refer to the FAQ for a fix.
- This client does not work on Windows 11 24H2 out of the box. Use this tool to fix this.
- The implementation of these clients is incomplete, you will experience issues.

- These clients are only accessible to testers for the time being.
- These clients are only in a proof of concept stage, and as such are missing most major functionality. All that works currently is presence updates and your buddy list. It's among our team's top priorities however, so expect that to change soon!
We're also working on:
- MSNP21 - 24
- OSCAR
- IRC
- TOC & TOC2
- MSIM (MySpaceIM)
Heads up: You're in diet mode, which is the version of the CrossTalk website designed for legacy/basic web browsers. Account management/member directory is not available on this version of the site.
To use all features, use the modern version of the site.
We are in no way affiliated with Microsoft, AOL, MySpace, or any other company.
